We encourage all stakeholders to sign in when submitting questions to our office. Once signed in, your contact information will be automatically attached to the request. Your question and responses from our team will be saved in your account so you may refer back to the guidance provided as needed.
To login, you will need a MyLa (my.la.gov) account. MyLa is also used to access other state resources. If you already have a MyLa account, just click Sign In at the top of this page and enter your MyLa user name and password. Then select Submit a Request to ask your question.
If you have not previously created a MyLa account, please follow these steps:
- Visit MyLa.
- Click “Read our Privacy Policy” to review the MyLa privacy policy and click Accept to accept it.
- Click Sign Up to create a new MyLa Account. Do not create a new account if you already have a MyLa user ID and password.
- Complete the required fields. Scroll down the page to answer the questions. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Helpful links are available in some fields to provide more information.
- Create User ID and Password. User IDs must be at least eight (8) characters. Click on “Want help making a User ID?” to see more about what is required. You will use this user ID to log into all systems secured by EdLink Security. Use something unique but easy to remember. Keep your user ID and password secure. DO NOT share your password with anyone.
- Add your school district email. You must use your school district email address for your account. Only use a personal email address if you are not currently employed by a Louisiana school district or approved Louisiana nonpublic or independent school.
- Click on Create Your Account.
- Confirm your email. You will receive a confirmation email. You must click the link in the confirmation email to activate your account. You will receive a confirmation screen when your email is confirmed.
You are not required to sign-in to submit a question to the Certification Office. Simply click Submit a Request above or below this article if you wish to ask a question without signing in to your account. Questions submitted without first logging into your account may not be saved to your account and easily accessible should you wish to refer back to the guidance provided.
